Wayland Marine

Row for fun, row for fitness, row for adventure! Wayland Marine has an established reputation, since 1989, offering the very best open water rowing shells. Ron Mueller takes pride in his designs, supports them and rows them year-round in our challenging Northwest waters.

What began as a group of 23 mountain climbing buddies is now the nation’s largest consumer cooperative with more than 2.8 million members. But no matter how large we grow, our roots remain firmly planted in the outdoors. Our passion for outdoor adventure is clear, whether you walk into one of our 80-plus stores, phone us, or visit the REI website. We are pleased to support the Dan Harris Challenge and the growing paddle and oar events in Whatcom Co.

New Whatcom Rowing

New Whatcom Rowing is the first rowing club in the Northwest dedicated to open-water rowing. You can enjoy the peace, wonder and superb health benefits of rowing year-round right here on Bellingham Bay. Come join us on our Demo Days to see what we are all about!

Masters Rowing Association

Since 1999 the Masters Rowing Association has encouraged and supported the amateur rowing community in the US with educational support, financial support and organizational voice to rowers (over the age of 23) who want to pursue their rowing passion for a lifetime. The Association has spent over $1 Million dollars in the rowing community to sponsor over 200 events. It is the Masters Rowing Association that provides the insurance umbrella for the Dan Harris Challenge.

Erin Bakers Breakfast Cookie

You’ve seen them everywhere, and you’ll see them at the Dan Harris Challenge. This is because Erin Baker believes ..”that balanced nutrition and regular exercise are the key elements to staying healthy, fit and happy!” In support of that mission, Baker’s Breakfast Cookies are donating four hundred of their nationally famous, delicious cookies to the Dan Harris Challenge.

Fairhaven Village Inn

You will find the Fairhaven Village Inn in the Historic Fairhaven District on Bellingham Bay. Fairhaven has a small working harbor and is a summer stop for the Victoria BC Ferry and the Alaska State Ferry. This district is a vibrant spot in Bellingham with all the amenities of a small town - library, drugstore, laundry, dentist, doctor, realtor, salons, exercise club, grocery store, walking trails and dozens of local restaurants sprinkled among unique shops and entertainment. The Village Green Park, much like a town square across the street from the Inn, has a farmer's market and outdoor movies. We'll loan you a blanket so you can go watch on summer Saturday nights.

Avenue Bread

Avenue Bread and Café, the meeting place for surfskiers, runners, rowers, and all the locals and visitors that make Fairhaven the hub of activity in southern part of Bellingham. Artisan breads, cookies, brioche, scones, croissants, fresh-baked every day. With a view of Harris Bay!
